Halloween stamps.

Do we have halloweenstamps ? Yes we have, Belgium and also France do have that kind of stamps. In Europe Halloween is not such a big issue.

A nice Belgian stamp, Belgium issued a booklet of ten self-adhesive stamps with two designs in 2004 to celebrate Halloween, show you one of these stamps.

Show a product from our TNT Post. This stamps are in a prestige booklet and are sold for

€ 9,95 . a lot more then the stampvalue. Last day I read on another blog that these product's does not sell. To many and to expensive. The same stamp with other pictures. Also the suggestion that in the end the stock of all that booklet will be sold with a great discount...?!

I don't think that will happen. However we have no idea what are the issue figures of stamps these day's, not the normal stamps and not the "marketingproducts"

There are a lot of "regular" stamps of my country we don't see on the mail. I mean the stamps with a value for abroad. Europe of outside of Europe. I did see I need a lot of them even if they are common. Our Dutch machins for instance. I show you 0,67 Euro, now availeble at the postoffice. You wont's see them on local mail. If you have this one or others, € 0,55- 0,57-0,61-0,70-0,72-0,76 please let me know, maybe we can do some trading.

Do you also have "problems" to get modern material. Or is it just a matter of waiting...

Treaty of Rome

Our clubshow was a great succes. Over now, only next Saterday some storage from the materials.

The mailman, woman here, is not a member so the mail went on this week. A very nice cover from Gibraltar, thanks to Ángel. Also good stuff for a flagcollector. Do you know how many countries did sign the Treaty of Rome in 1957?

My roosters of this year are no good. Need to replace them for new one(s) and try to have a better result next year. 2 more day's to go and than maybe more time for stamps on my blog.

Chickens from Portugal

Told you yesterday that I receive also some nice covers from Portugal. Here we see some poultry on a nice stamp. Could not find what is the reason for this issue. Maybe a joint issue with Peru. When there is also a chicken on it it's a very special one. The cancellation is showing a chicken for sure. Great cover were you only see the stamp and cancellation.

Busy week

This week was very busy for me.(And you don't want to know about next week......) Nice to see that the mail (snail one) is still working here.

Did get some nice covers from China, Portugal, USA and The Netherlands and the week still has one day to go.

Show you the FDC from China I got from a new contact for me. Don't know how he find my address and where, but my information is on my blog of course.

The stamp is for The World Summer Games in Shanghai 2007. They are special olympics but I could not find any information about the issue. Is it one stamp or are there more?

Will return a nice cover for this wonderfull FDC.

My last stamp

In the end we all die. When you are in that state you are not able to mail all your friends your gone. That's way snail mail will alway's exists.... We in The Netherlands have a special stamp to put on the sad letter. Now there is a great contest to design your own "last" stamp. There are a lot of great designs, show you one of my niece, also nice. If you want to vote on this (or other stamps) here is the place to be. You may win an iPod .

Next week we have our yearly show of chickens and rabbits. That will take a lot of time for me. Not only the preparation of my white silky's but also to help with building up the show.

New Personal Stamp

My new personal stamp, however, design by our TNT post but I did not take the whole picture but a part of the picture. So in the end it is a personal stamp. Made 20 pcs and you may guess when I use these. Also put one on Ebay.
